Marie Fredriksson who was one half of the Swedish rock duo Roxette has passed away at age 61. She had a long-term battle with cancer. Roxette had hit songs “The Look” and ” It Must Have Been Love”. Her voice was powerful and memorable.
Here is another hit song “Listen To Your Heart” which is a great example of her power and finesse.

Discrimination is wrong. It is something that speaks to the worst in people and organizations. When it comes to making a living being LGBTQ folks should not be afraid of losing their rights to life, liberty and happiness. We are in the 21st century and the fact that discrimination is a problem for so many is quite sad. I hope for the very best today as the US Supreme Court decides some issues regarding LGBTQ discrimination. It’s time freedom is open for all.

When four living First Ladies, numerous religious leaders, people from both sides of the political spectrum and so many more are calling for the end to this sinful separation of families how can anyone deny it is really happening? Families should be together. Children are being traumatized and that is not good for their future development.
