Quote Of The Day

We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again.

Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

Brexit Day Is Here, Hope For The Best Here #brexit

Today is the day that the United Kingdom leaves the European Union. Its a move that will impact all of Europe I predict. I am hoping all my friends from Britain will have the future they are seeking whatever that may look like. May this time of transition be one that does not disrupt the lives of people. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

Today, December 12, 2019 Is The United Kingdom General Election #ge2019 Go Vote!

To my friends in the United Kingdom today is the day to vote. Make your voice heard. Its your duty to secure the future. Get out and vote!

Remembrance Day 2019, Lest We Forget #remembranceday

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty. Thanks for your service and sacrifices.

To All #England Football Supporters #ThreeLions

To my awesome friends in England moral victories can be hollow but this squad played for Queen and Country and for those of us from other places who love your nation. May this reinvigorate the pride you have in your country and make the game of football stronger. Three Lions come back for World Cup 2022 better and stronger.

I admire this woman for all the things she has done in her reign. She hasn’t been perfect but she has shown strength, character and grace under pressure. Although I am an American I consider her my queen. Long live The Queen!

Royal Wedding Day – Harry and Meghan Get Married

p05vr9qs

Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle today at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. I woke up at 4 AM Eastern Time today to watch the service because I am such a Anglophile and a big fan of current events like this. Today is a day of joining two people who are doing great things for others.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will conduct the service but the Most Rev. Michael Curry who is presiding bishop of the Episcopal church of which I am a member of will be delivering a sermon so I am excited about that.

The Royal Family along with people from charity, celebrity, sport and the community are gathered together to celebrate this joyous day. This is a happy occasion, love rules and wins.
