You could say the work of ones hands could be considered a craft. Whether it be creating unique works of art or what they do in their profession crafts are something special. People craft everything from jewelry to clothing to decorative items. Beer enthusiasts take their time in making the right brew that is very different. Our craft is the product of what we do for a living or for the fun of it. It is a passion of some sort that we really enjoy doing.

There are a lot of things in this life we need to resist. Sometimes we can’t help ourselves though. To resist that second piece of cake or slice of pie takes will power. When you resist temptation it shows you have some strength and willpower. However in current events you have to resist people who seek to divide and to build walls. You have to resist people and systems that resolve to do harm and to promote ideas and ideologies that are not a part of ones values. I resist power that seeks to deny everyone the right to live their lives and to love who they choose. Resist destruction, resist being afraid, resist allowing yourself to things that can harm you and others.

Modern conveniences have made doing things almost automatic. Everything from paying bills to doing our mundane activities. We don’t like to have to think about stuff but when we do we like it to be as labor free as possible. I just wanna live my life as carefree as possible which. Not everything can be on auto pay or auto renew. We have to use our brains and to not be so lazy. However when we can we have to take advantage of the new fangled things to keep us going and to simplify an already complex life.

It’s amazing how hard it is to do something simply. We all like to complicate things unnecessarily. You take a look at the most simple things and you wonder how that was made or conceived. Some of the best things in life are just a few humble things thrown together that can make something spectacular. Simple doesn’t always mean boring though. Keeping things simple can be a challenge though.

Success is a personal thing. It is also measured by different standards according to the situations life has us in at any given moment. People define it by money, things, possessions and status but there seems to be more to it. The life you have built for yourself and how happy you are can be as much success as anything else. Don’t let someone define how successful you are because it’s your life and your rules.

You know you are overworked when you see a lot of overtime on your check. People work more and harder to keep a roof over their heads. It’s not unusual to see people with 2 or more jobs. They are burning the candle at both ends and in the middle. Being overworked can lead to burnout and worse. Life is a constant struggle to make ends meet so being overworked and sometime over stressed in so many parts of life. The notion of working smarter means working harder because you have to. Maybe if more people did their part there wouldn’t be so many overworked people in the world.
