Today is the Autumnal Equinox or the beginning of Fall. This is traditionally my favorite season because the weather is cooler and the leaves change colors where I live. These days the temperatures aren’t as cool as they once were. Still, I like this time of year for its vibes. Have a cozy Fall season good people.
The first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere arrives with the solstice this year on Friday, June 20, 2025, 10:42 p.m. EDT. With Summer comes fun and sun and weird weather. Let’s stay cool as the heat warms all around us. Remember to hydrate because it’s good for you, and try not to get sunburned.
Meanwhile, I will be counting down the days until my favorite season, which is Fall.
November, it’s good to see you. I hope for good things from you, like Kamala and Tim getting elected on the fifth or sometime after that. Also, remember that Thanksgiving is an important holiday.
Snoopy and Woodstock might be enjoying Summer but I am not a fan. It’s too damn hot and it’s just getting started. Of course, I am salty because my car’s air conditioning doesn’t work so driving around isn’t comfy. However, I do work in an air-conditioned office. Also, I don’t like to sweat all that much, and where I live it’s also humid and sticky. Ick. Can we speed through to fall? If you are a fan of Summer, enjoy.
I love Fall/Autumn. The changing of the colors of trees, the coolness of the air (sometimes), and it’s just cozy. I think life slows down in some ways but picks up in others. Fall/Autumn is the season of hugs, hayrides, and pumpkin spice lattes for those who enjoy that. Also, it’s the season of Halloween and Thanksgiving, and I haven’t forgotten those noble holidays that are all about candy and turkey. I await Fall/Autumn even though it isn’t technically Summer yet.
It’s a few days before November. It’s 81 degrees on Saturday, October 28. The air conditioning is running today. Is it still Fall?
