I started using Prisma today after hearing about it and seeing others use it. Normally I don’t filter my pix, even on Instagram. This app will let me tell my story from a different perspective. It’s available for Android and that iPhone thingy.
I change my themes more than some folks change their minds. Since I am using Instagram pictures on my blog again I found they display better across various platforms using the Twenty Fourteen theme. The widgets are in the same places you might have seen before. I like how much content you can display using this theme too. Thanks for putting up with the changes and remaining connected. I am bringing back Instagram pictures back to the blog. There is a way to selectively do that and I am doing it using tags on the service https://ifttt.com where you can do a lot of cool things on the web. Cross-posting is a great way to bring content to a wide audience.
For those on Instagram do you have a problem with mystery followers who seem to be spam-like and don’t have a conventional username? I get them frequently. Some promise more followers and others are kind of racy and sexy. I guess there are people on the Internet who want to exploit more than genuinely connect with others in a meaningful way. It’s kind of frustrating and annoying. But it’s a part of the web experience.
Snapchat the popular photo texting app thingy is now off my phone. It is a very big app in terms of space and I wasn’t using it much because I just couldn’t get into it. I will stick with the apps and services I tend to use more such as WordPress, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr.

Yes, I am a 46 year old man who does selfies. I have been told I am like a teenage girl in my doing so many selfies. I enjoy being a dork and that is one way I do that. There are more interesting things in the world to post about and I hope to encounter more of that through life. Selfies can be a innocent thing or a narcissistic thing people do…I can’t figure out which one I am doing yet. Can one do the selfie and remain humble at the same time?
