The Second Sunday Of Advent
Today is the third Sunday of Advent. Joy is the theme for today’s celebration. The candle is pink which is different from the other three that are purple. We all need more joy in our lives. God be with you all good people. The above picture is the screen we use at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church to produce our live stream of our services on YouTube and the Advent wreath is in the upper left picture.
Thought Of The Day 10/16/2023
Everyone has a right to comment on stuff. However, there seems to be a set of people who are so negative and hateful in their comments. It’s like they have nothing positive to say. It throws water and sucks the joy out of being online.
There is something to be said for child-like, geeky enthusiasm. I just hope it’s never extinguished by people who don’t have the same joy in life.
Be You, No Matter Where You Are
Be yourself no matter where you are and who you are with. Own your individual spirit and be willing to represent the things that give you joy, peace and love. Wear the uniform of being a nerd and fly the freak flag for the world to see. Remember the geeks shall inherit the Earth because we know how its run.
