As a church-going type person, I have sat through many digital worship services in these days of COVID19. Currently, my parish is meeting outdoors in-person to keep people connected yet safe. YouTube and Zoom have been instrumental in keeping many churches going and offering their parishioners the Word and Sacraments.
This graphic is a humorous take on watching church online. I do like the no parking, coffee, and relaxing in my pajamas but I would never ever mute my priest. He’s pretty good at sermonizing and that sort of thing.
No matter how you practice your faith I hope you have found a way to stay connected and to receive blessings from your spiritual community.
The first rule of 2021 is don’t discuss 2020 and this is a legit statement. No one needs to hear about what happened last year or something like that. Hope for a brighter tomorrow.
This is the last post of 2020. It has been quite the year and we all have struggled in one way or another. Some how we made it throughout the year and I feel lucky having done so. Whatever comes our way in the future lets be supportive and kind. My friends, may we have peace in the coming year.
Also, wear your masks, we still have a pandemic out there.
My friends, it’s New Year’s Eve and it’s time we said farewell to 2020. In what has been a horrible year we can look forward to a new one that I hope will be better all around for everyone. Of course, it’s a clean slate and we can all be grateful for that. Peace to you all and peace on Earth.
For some 2021 has already come and we wish you, good people, a Happy New Year!
I had a second COVID test on Monday, December 28th and the results came back negative for the virus. As much as I am relieved, there are others who are struggling with it and many have died because of it. The Coronavirus is nothing to take lightly. I am still wearing my mask and social distancing. Right now you can’t be too careful for yourself and those around you.
Tuesdays can be a challenge especially when you start off the week with a bang. Work is often a marathon and not a sprint from my perspective. When meeting a quota you have to have to work smarter not harder. Although, hard work is its own reward. Persistence, patience and a little perspiration can help you get to where you want to go at any time. Success and goals come with what you want to achieve individually and collectively with a team. So let your Tuesdays come with a little extra moxie and hopefully things will be where you want them to be.
