Since today is my pay day this diagram is very accurate. You do spend more at first and have to put the brakes on at the end and hope your not eating ramen noodles at the end. We’ve all been there I would think.

Opening Our Hearts and Minds
In the days we live in its helpful to have a global perspective on what is going on with your friends and neighbors. We all have our own struggles and opinions but being isolated from the struggles and opinions of others does no one good. Our life experience informs us about how to live and what to think but that gives you a narrow view of life. Our own experience is not the experience of others.
We owe it to the world to be sympathetic, empathetic and understanding. Yes it’s easier said than done but it can happen if we work hard at it. Opening our hearts and minds can do great good. It takes courage and intention to do so. Something this writer needs to do better at.
Older In The Office
I’m almost 50 and age should be just a number but in an office it can issue. Older workers have lots of experience that can benefit the whole company.
It’s interesting that some older workers see lots of people come and go over time. I know that from personal experience.
Personally I try to keep up with the culture so that I might be relevant and relatable to my younger co-workers and other relationships.
Being older in the office doesn’t mean being stuffy it can mean that little can phase you which can be beneficial to all.
