I don’t always deal with stuff I am going through when it is happening. Stuffing stuff in a box is typically what I do. Feeling your feels is hard and there will come a time when you have to deal with it all. Many of us just want to move on to the next thing before doing the work of reconciling with the people and things at the moment we are in. Of course, there are people like me who don’t take the time to resolve and reconcile. There are times when life makes you open those boxes and you have to deal with the stuff you find in them. So, the best way to move forward is to stop stuffing and start dealing. It’s a good thing for everyone to do.

I have a hand-me-over laptop from Mrs. Soup Diva that I have installed Ubuntu, the open-source Linux operating system Ubuntu 22.04, and Windows 10. I am running them via a dual-boot setup. Both operating systems will still be supported with some updates for the next couple of years so I feel comfortable in saying that I will shoot for a new laptop then and most likely it will be a good refurbished unit that costs under $300. Recently I installed more memory and a solid-state NVME drive so it’s running great right now. I don’t think I am going to have to make any further changes as long as I take care of what I have. I also have a desktop with the same configuration.

I believe it’s good to save your pennies where you can on technology and other things. Soon I am going to adorn the laptop with some stickers to give it a hipster personalization vibe (I’ll share that in a later post). I hope you all have setups that make you happy and productive.
