I am passionate about what I believe and with that being said I really hope I am respectful to others who might share my view or passion. Some folks who happen to be conservatives on Facebook are moving to other social platforms as a protest to the current political climate and to find a more supportive community. This is troubling and I hope I do my best to be considerate and kind.
If I have ever been disrespectful in these weird times, we live in, know that I am sorry and ask forgiveness. My bleeding heart is too big .
This giraffe is here to remind you that it is indeed Monday. May it be productive and that sort of thing. Make it a great day or try to at least. Grace and peace to all of you!
The Columbarium of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church where the ashes of deceased members are placed.
Today is All-Saints Sunday which is observed in some Christian traditions such as the Episcopal Church and for me personally at St. Peters. It’s a time to remember those who have died in the previous year. Remembering these souls who have blessed us in this life is an honorable thing to do. It reminds believers that follow Jesus that their lives are not forgotten. It is good to remember and reflect upon the contributions that our saints have made to make the world a better place.
Tomorrow standard time returns to clocks in a lot of places. Be sure to turn your clocks back one hour before turning in. You get an extra hour of sleep. Not sure I want an “extra hour” of 2020 though.
The best game to win is the game of life and you can score big points by helping others. Wearing a mask, donating blood, giving to a food bank, volunteering for a local charity, recycling, advocating for the less fortunate, all of it can be good for you and for others. Do these things because it will make you a winner in the eyes of many and a hero too.
