Hey Everybody, It’s December

We have reached the final month of 2025. December, let’s see what you have in store for us. May the holidays be fun and festive and uneventful. Have a good month, good people.

The Season Of Advent Has Begun

The season of Advent has begun for many in the Christian tradition. This is a time of prayer, reflection and waiting for the birth of Jesus Christ. Advent is also the beginning of the church year. It’s a time of celebration and joy, too.

Christmas is on its way. Enjoy the journey.

Today Is Black Friday, A Big Shopping Day

Today is Black Friday, which is one of the busiest shopping days of the year. It has been traditionally a fight to the death for the best deals and bargains. There is fun to see what people have been able to get at the stores. With Amazon, Walmart, Target, and the like, Black Friday seems to have lost a little of its popularity.

But there is nothing like getting out and fighting crowds for some instant gratification. For some, it’s the thrill of the chase to get what they want. I hope the odds were ever in your favor if you went out this morning.

Happy Thanksgiving Good People

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating in the United States. May your time today be one of love, togetherness, and hopefully some good food. This time of year can be a challenge for many for personal reasons. May we also be mindful of those indigenous peoples that played a part in the first celebration. No matter where you are, may you have something to be thankful for.
