Today is Ash Wednesday in the Christian tradition. It’s the beginning of the season of Lent. During this season it’s a time to repent, reflect, pray, and draw closer to God. I served at my churches Ash Wednesday service as a way to begin this journey to Easter. Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust
President Zelinskyy didn’t wear a suit to the White House, and he is a hero. Maybe we need more people who don’t wear suits, getting things done and making the world a better place. It seems like some people in suits are making the world worse.
It was a busy first day of March for me that I forgot it’s March 1st. I hope that makes sense. Hello, March. Let’s hope for the best while expecting something else.
This display at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee is in support and petitioning for prayers for peace in Ukraine. The country is in need of an end of the conflict that has caused much death and destruction.
Right now, the free world is being led by people who stand up to bullies and to those who are fighting for freedom against tyranny and unprovoked attacks. Also, may I add those not trying to economically damage allies. At this moment in history, it’s not The President of the United States and by extension The United States is in a dark place, and we need someone to see the country through.
The President of the United States is no longer leader of the free world.
The United States is no longer the “good” guys.
People are suffering from self-inflicted pain because of their votes.
The world was safer and better before January 20th than it is now.
Everyone in the USA is going to have it rough because of tariffs on Canada and Mexico. Cars, beer, power, and avocados are going to get more expensive.
The Russian Government is negatively influencing everything. The United States is now in league with them and China.
We are all about to go into hard times. Some harder than others.
This list could go on forever, but this is enough hard truths to keep most of us up at night.
