It’s amazing that some people need to be drug into the present kicking and screaming, let alone the future. Change is a constant. The good old days weren’t good for everyone. Some people are dreaming of better days ahead while others see the world going all to heck because things aren’t the way the used to be. Sure I am not always welcoming change but I know it has to happen and if it helps someone else then so be it. Change requires being willing to allow good things for people you don’t know. Time is ticking are you clicking.

Tunes Tuesday – Duran Duran: Hungry Like The Wolf
I heard this song on the radio on the way home from work and I had to post it as my Tunes Tuesday post. Duran Duran “Hungry Like The Wolf” is a song you can sing at the top of your lungs at while driving. This is a little something from my teen years when they were top of the pops.

Land of Opportunity, Everywhere
I am an American but I must say that my country is not the only land of opportunity. We have a big bowl but there are millions of fish in that bowl too. Everyone has a dream but people can achieve their dreams and build their own countries where they come from. I know the USA has a image around the world but really we aren’t all that. We can’t seem to treat those in the fringes well. Non-natives aren’t looked at all that well by everyone.
Every land can be a land of opportunity. America does not have a monopoly on building a bright future. I am not anti-immigrant or anything like that or even racist for that matter. I think the best and brightest of places like India, Canada, UK and continents like Africa and South America need their own to stay home to make their home and native lands even better for a new generation.
Everyone has a chance to do amazing things and there are lots of places that need that chance to flourish, thrive and become their own lands of opportunity.

I got to see Mrs. Reagan when I was in High School while at a conference in Atlanta. That was a big thrill for me to see her as a teenager. The former FLOTUS was a interesting person who made waves herself as first lady. No matter your political position this is a sad day.
