They Call This Thing Blogging: Perhaps It’s More

It starts with a thought in our minds, then travels to our fingers to the device we use to connect with the world.

Our words come forth like a waterfall on to the screen to be seen by people who only seem to exist in binary.

It’s those moments in time when a post is what someone needs the most.

We do know our words will mesh with theirs to make a wonderful community of different thoughts, feelings and emotions.

The many words are pressed here forever more.

Their words come forth on that screen which makes them real, organic, pure.

They call this thing blogging and we know for sure that it inspires us to do something more.

My friends keep on blogging, lets all see what is in store.

In Observance of Memorial Day in the USA

Thank you to our veterans who have served and have given their lives. Our country is forever grateful. May we honor your sacrifice by being the best people and nation we can be. We also thank your families who remain and mourn your loss daily. Grace and peace to each person who has served or is continuing to serve.

Simple

Is something that says its simple really simple at all. Doesn’t it take a lot of thought into making something simple therefore making it complex. All the steps one takes is a process that can take a lot of time. Simplicity is something most people desire but is it worth it? I guess it depends on what you are doing and how to go about doing it. Simple can be complex at times.

Marking A Milestone

It’s important to mark milestones. Anniversaries, birthdays, deaths, job starts/losses and life transitions are all things that we measure time by. Especially when your blog reaches a new follower count or you have made 500 posts. Celebrating and observing those times in your life where important things happened can help you remember and treasure everything that is going on with you.

Yourself

It’s hard to be yourself sometimes. However in the end it’s worth it. Being weird is a great freedom. The world needs originals, not copies. Everyone should be able to be themselves without being ridiculed. Be who you are meant to be good people.

Older People

Older people enjoy the company of younger folks. Yes there are exceptions to that rule but I think being in the company of wise folks can benefit everyone. There are amazing stories from people who are seasoned citizens, people who have lived through a lot of different things. You can learn a lot from someone who’s been around the block a time or two. As a younger person there is life changing wisdom that can be gained. Be open to cross-generational opportunities for friendship.
