Six Word Story

I hope your weekend was awesome!

To Doubt Is Human

Everyone has something they have doubts about. It’s human nature I believe. As a person of faith, I have them all the time and that doesn’t make me less of a believer.

My God is big enough to understand. There is a story of a man named Thomas in the Christian tradition who had doubts about the return of Jesus after his crucifixion. It’s those doubts that made Thomas’ faith stronger. Doubt does not mean one stops believing it can mean getting more information in hopes you can be a better person.

It’s OK to have doubts based upon experiences in life. It’s easy to doubt when you have been let down about something. Doubts can help us make wise decisions about things. My friend’s doubt is a good thing. It’s a tool that can help you be a better person.

A Commentary On Palestine and Israel

I love my Jewish friends and antisemitism is morally and ethically wrong. With that being said Israel’s response to the attack of Hamas on October 7th has far exceeded what happened to them. Every day people in Palestine are suffering and entire communities are reduced to rubble. This past week relief workers from World Central Kitchen were killed by Israeli weapons of mass destruction. I think Israel has become no better than those who have attacked them. My hope is for all aggressions to cease and the hostages held by Hamas be sent home. This bloody war needs to end. May God be with Palestine. May God forgive Israel for losing their way.

(Note: I will not engage in arguments on this issue. If you want to unfriend me I am fine with that. Thank you for connecting with me.

Happy Friday Good People!

It’s Friday and you know what that means! The weekend is at hand. Finish the week strong, get into excellent trouble and have a little fun in the process. Grace and peace and love to you all good people.

Tribalism And Pro Wrestling

(This post is about my favorite sport, pro wrestling. Much of this makes sense to fans so if you want further explanation, just leave a comment).

I should have a big heart and open mind regarding pro wrestling. People say that tribalism is a problem and I can see that but I cannot help it. I don’t want WWE to fail but I want AEW to succeed much more. This is Wrestlemania week and I cannot get into the hype surrounding Cody Rhodes, who I miss in AEW, and the Bloodline story with Roman Reigns and The Rock. Please tell me if I am overthinking this or something else. It feels like I am cheating on AEW if I get into the Wrestlemania hype. What say you wrestling fans?

Attention All Followers, Mostly From The Past

Tonight I was looking at the number of followers I have and there is large number of them but so many seem to be inactive. Blogging like anything I guess can be seasonal. I know there have been times when I haven’t felt like posting anything and then I get a spurt of creativity and inspiration.

This goes out to people who have been with me for eight or nine years, I hope you are doing well and living a good life. Check-in when you can. A new post would be good. Grace and peace. You are missed.

As I say often Keep on Blogging!
