Today is my 52nd birthday and as I celebrate today, I am grateful to my family, friends, and others who have helped me get here. You know it’s good to be alive and kicking while being mindful of those who we have lost in the past couple of years. I hope for good things in the coming year. Thanks for sharing this day with me. Giving it all you got daily can be challenging. There are some days when faking it until you make it is the best you can do. I understand that doing your best is important and, in some occupations, you cannot have an off day.
All I am saying is that being human comes with boundaries and limitations that sometimes cannot be overcome. Doing the best, you can does not always mean 100% effort, often it means something closer to 50%.
I guess it depends on your attitude or how you are feeling physically and mentally. Circumstances can also dictate what doing your best really means. Expectations and reality are two different things here and how you approach what life throws at you and how you meet those challenges. Do your best, whatever that looks like and then let it go. There is only so much one person can do in this life.

I have been away for a couple of days and I hope all of you are doing well. Sometimes you need a break from things and that is what I did. Blogging is important to my online life and being able to create quality posts that emphasize the sacred, serious and silly stuff in life is what this blog is all about. I also admit I have not kept up with many of your posts and I feel that is part of being a good neighbor in the community of creators. I always say keep on blogging but sometimes that is hard. Now that I am back lets reconnect for the future.
