Six Word Story

Being human is really hard daily.

I am more of an old school blogger and less content creator. My writing is within the confines of creating a post of things I find sacred, serious and even silly. My posts are short and concise featuring writing, media and sometimes both. My goal is to be a good all-around blogger where I can connect with fellow bloggers and others.
I truly appreciate my blogging community.

Today in America its Thanksgiving and its a time of feasting, family, friends and hopefully fun. It’s a tradition that has spanned generations. People coming together to express what they are thankful for is the rule of the day.
Yes, this holiday is not without its baggage. Sure there are stories of mistreatment and anguish in recorded history. We cannot ignore those facts because it would not be respectful to those who have suffered.
However, we can remember the problematic stuff and forge a way forward that recognizes the best of what Thanksgiving can be. In the times in which we live its good to have something positive to say and to remember the good times in our lives.
For many, it’s hard to be thankful and that is where we can come in to help provide experiences that they can hold onto.
I believe this holiday is one of redemption and renewal for something good. Happy Thanksgiving to each of you, far and wide.
Maturity is changing, evolving, being responsible, taking care of yourself and others. It is listening, handling pressure, transitioning, regenerating and caring. It’s not not buying into drama but enjoying the drama that comes with change. Admitting you make mistakes and owning up to them. It is respecting people for who they are and who they will become. Meet the fear of maturity with strength and courage.

Happy Friday to all my friends and fellow bloggers out there. Let’s make it a great day and finish the week strong. Love and peace!
