Holiday 2025 Notes
Christmas Day 2025 for me was a good one, being with my family. I am appreciative of everything I was given. We spent time together eating, exchanging gifts, and enjoying the day. It was a warm day, with temperatures that felt more like early spring.
Today, the missus and I had the day off. We spent it watching a marathon of Christmas movies. Scrooge, It’s A Wonderful Life, and White Christmas. Later on we will dive into Stranger Things.
We have seen all of these movies this holiday season. I would say my favorite is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, which is what we watch first every year.
To all who are celebrating Boxing Day, may it be one of good tidings, giving to those in need and peace.
Merry Christmas Eve
It’s Christmas Eve and it’s time to be mindful of the season and those we love. Today I gave the gift of life in the form of a blood donation at Blood Assurance the regional blood bank I work for. It seemed like a good thing to do to help others in this season.
My friends have a great Christmas. Be safe everyone.

Donald Trump is not a good man. He is woefully incompetent and lacks the moral clarity to lead. The presidency often requires empathy and compassion, which he is incapable of. His remarks about the murder of Rob Reiner proves that point. There is no argument anyone can make to defend him as a leader or a person. I so wish that his party would have the courage to hold him accountable.
Monday, Decemburrr 15th
It’s another Monday and it’s a really cold one for this time of year where I live. Chattanooga is feeling the Arctic today. Staying warm is the rule of the day. Thank goodness it is going to get warmer later in the week.
Flashback Friday – Earring Edition
Two weeks ago, I got my first and probably only piercing. I went to a local tattoo shop to get my left ear pierced. It’s been fun having an earring.
