Pride Month, which is known as LGBTQ Pride Month, is a month-long observance dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ pride, commemorating the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer culture and community.
To all who are celebrating this month, know that I am an ally and a friend. Things are tough for this community in many places. May you find community and connection with those who believe in your rights and freedoms as human beings.
Today is the beginning of Pride Month, which celebrates and honors the contributions of those in the LGBTQ community. I am proud to call the people in my life who are LGBTQ my friends. This is a tough time for LGBTQ folks in America and around the world because of the hate and violence against them. Unfortunately, diversity is a bad word these days. All I want to do is be a good ally and to lift them up for being people who want to pursue happiness and love. Love one another, no matter what.
Today is the last day of June and the last day of LGBTQ Pride month. I hope this month will increase the spirit of those in the community as we face an uncertain future with the 2024 election coming up. My friends I am glad to be in your corner. Being LGBTQ is being yourselves. Be strong and keep up the good fight. Grace and peace to all my friends who want to live without fear and hatred. So, everyone in the US, UK, and Canada make plans to vote like freedom and democracy depend upon it. Because it does. I hope your June was a good one.
It is PRIDE month again and it’s time to celebrate those in the LGBTQIA community doing great things to improve our communities. It’s also a time to be mindful of the challenges they face through cruel legislation and hate. Many of my friends are in the community and all they wish to do is live free of fear. I am proud to be an ally and a safe person to confide in. I love you all good people who are showing your colors this month.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.
Pride month is a global celebration recognizing the LGBTQ community around the world. The work of acceptance and full inclusion continues. As an ally I’m proud to stand with my friends in the community who seek justice and to live their lives without fear.
