Forgiveness is hard. Sometimes forgiving someone is more of a journey and doesn’t happen instantly. Forgiving doesn’t always mean forgetting. We all have experiences where we are deeply hurt and we cannot forgive and that’s a very human thing. To err is human and to forgive is divine as the old saying goes. Reconciliation is a good thing but in some instances may never happen.
Right now some people have been harmed to the point where forgiveness is the furthest thing from their minds let alone their hearts. I know I am not perfect and I have made my share of mistakes and all can say is that forgiveness is a gift and it’s a hard thing to give.
Universally we desire love, peace, companionship and comfort. Specifically and individually we have needful things like romance, faith, spiritual awakening and sex. It’s good for humanity for justice and reconciliation. How we realize those desires is a deeply personal thing.
Everyone wants to be heard and we fear these things we want not being realized in our lives. Desire is something we communicate through our words, looks and language. People need things that make life worth living. We feel desire in our bones and in our souls. Let our desire come from a place of goodness and never evil.
No one should live in fear for their lives or the lives of people they love. Using threats to scare people is not what civilization is about. Keeping the status quo by violence is just plain wrong. It’s serious when instruments of destruction are used to harm or kill. There has to be another way, maybe not being selfish and being kind is a start.
One of the most adult things one does is pay bills. They add up fast and money doesn’t grow on trees. Trying to keep up can be a challenge when you have everything from mortgage/rent, utilities, medical, education, car, TV/Internet, food, phone and insurance. When its due all it once you find your bank account screams at you. I’m not a fan of spending money on all that but you know it’s what we do to keep the lifestyles we have become accustom to. We work sometimes just to pay to live. Nope, don’t like adulting this much but its gotta be done.
In ones mourning we should always remember those who are mourning too for one reason or another. The suffering of people doesn’t take a break. Loss is timeless and universal.
Without bragging I am pretty good at what I do for a living. So when I struggle as everyone does its frustrating. Lots of people feel this. You know what you are capable of and the level of your production is well above goal on a very consistent basis then it puzzles you.
Of course there are forces outside your control that can and will impact how you do so as the old saying goes you have to roll with the punches. Everyone has a bucket of some sort to fill in their line of work and its great when its filled daily. The goal is to do your best as to fulfill your expectations but never to put your coworkers down in the process.
Keep reminding yourself that tomorrow is another day to get it right and to consistently produce.
