Farewell Supergirl

Tonight is the series finale of the TV show “Supergirl” that has aired on The CW network. Melissa Benoist has led a really talented cast through six seasons of action, adventure, friendship, and family. I will miss this show because it gave a super role model for girls of all ages. It also advocated for acceptance and inclusion of all. Farewell Supergirl, you did well.

Crisis On Infinite Earths Coming Sunday To A TV Near You On @TheCW Network #CrisisOnInfiniteEarths

I am a big fan of TheCW Network’s DC superhero shows. Next week t they will have a 5-episode massive crossover event called “Crisis on Infinite Earths” featuring Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow and the show that started it all on the network Arrow. Joining along will be Superman in two forms and so many more heroes. I am so looking forward to this TV event because crossovers are a great way to have some big-time action and adventure.

We need heroes in reality and fiction to keep us going and to give us a sense of security and safety. Everyone needs rescuing sometimes in their lives and TV shows like this one reminds us of that.

Quote Of The Day

Now, in each and every one of you, there is a light, a spirit that cannot be snuffed out. That won’t give up. I need your help again. I need you to hope. Hope that you will remember that you can all be heroes. Hope that when faced with an enemy determined to destroy your spirit, you will fight back and thrive. Hope that those who once may have shunned you will, in a moment of crisis, come to your aid. Hope that you will see again the faces of those you love. And perhaps even those you’ve lost… TV’s Supergirl as played by Melissa Benoist
