Throwback Thursday – Twister: Aftermath @ Universal Studios Orlando #tbt

Twister: Aftermath at Universal Studios Orlando has closed to make way for a New York themed attraction featuring The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon. Twister: Aftermath is a long time favorite and it will be missed along with other attractions that have come and gone since my family’s first visit in 2001.

Throwback Thursday Music: Spandau Ballet – “True” #TBT

I heard this song last night at the restaurant where we were having dinner and I was taken back to a great era in music. This song is smooth, soulful and very 1980’s British Pop (which I love).

The movie “The Wedding Singer” features this song as the last music you hear with Steve Buchemi singing.

Throwback Thursday – The Police – Every Breath You Take

From their 1983 album “Synchronicity”. This record was huge back in the day. The Police remains one of the great bands of the era before Sting went solo.

I Left My Phone At Home This Morning

I am forgetful, we are all forgetful. This morning I left my mobile phone at home and it will be a day to get by without it. Fortunately I am connected at work so it’s not as big a deal as it could be. This does provide an interesting throwback Thursday though. It takes me back to a time when I didn’t worry about having a phone and I wasn’t hyper connected to everyone and everything everywhere I went. Nevertheless its still frustrating to forget something that has become a part of ones everyday life. Yes I know this is a first world problem and there are more serious things to be worried about. My phone gets the day off from me…I guess our gadgets need a break too.

Throwback Thursday: Bon Jovi – Living On A Prayer

Some days we are all living on a prayer. Here is a little throwback Thursday for you from the great state of New Jersey.
