The Tony Burgess Blog – New Theme, Big And Bold

Screenshot 2018-03-27 at 7.59.23 PM

I have used the Toujours theme before but I wanted it to look the way I wanted. It took me some time to find the CSS coding to make it look the way I wanted but after much research on the web and trial-and-error I have made it mine. The coloring is based upon the college where I got my bachelors degree, Middle Tennessee State University’s school colors which is blue and white. Everything on it is bigger and bolder than I have ever done before. It’s easy to read and use, well at least I think so. Let me know what you think. Feedback is always welcome.

A New Look For The Tony Burgess Blog From A Familiar Theme #wordpress

An important part of blogging is how the reader responds. They can’t respond if the typeface is too small or there is too much going on the screen at one time. I have used 1, 2 and 3 column layouts in my blogging career but the two column seems to strike a good balance of information and content with some eye candy thrown in.

The Toujours theme offers a font size that is easy to read along with plenty of blank space it doesn’t seem so crowded. I have used this theme before but I am employing some new ways to display recent posts among other features to make the blog stand out.

I hope you will enjoy my blog even more with these aesthetic and functional changes. Your interest in me and this blog are appreciated.

My blog with the Toujours theme deployed for the season ahead.

I have redeployed the Toujours theme on my blog to lighten things up for the season. Summer is coming and things are supposed to be brighter so I wanted to reflect that. Everything is bigger on this theme so reading and viewing pictures will be easier too.

Now is a good time to spruce things up and to post about what you are up to these days. Reconnecting during warmer months is always fun. Enjoy and keep on blogging my friends.
