Here in the southeastern part of the USA it’s unseasonably warm. Temps have been in the 80’s and 90’s. I remember as a kid when highs would be in the 60’s and lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Fall, so far, has been more like Summer. I sure wish it would cool down.
Nicole, is a category 2 hurricane brewing in the Atlantic Ocean. It could make things even more interesting in the coming days.
I have friends in Florida and family in the Carolina’s. This is going to be a tough couple of days. We haven’t had a really bad Hurricane in the US for some time. Evacuations have begun in the region. For many this is old hat but for others this is a really scary event.

Keep the folks who are in the path of this hurricane in your thoughts and prayers. Donate if you can to relief efforts that might be needed. It’s going to be a tough few days ahead for many people who are going to be impacted. If any of you who are in the path please be safe.
September 2016 has come and before too long the leaves will change color to a golden brown before falling off the trees sometime October or November. I am ready for the temperatures to get below 75 degrees because it’s too damn hot at the moment.
