Daily Prompt: Anticipation
Turkey and dressing, corn and sweet potatoes. Ham and cornbread. Pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce. Anticipation of the tastes of the season await. Thanksgiving in America is tomorrow and we are all waiting to fill our plate and to fill our bellies. Most importantly is the anticipation of reunion with family and to fill our hearts with love and thanks. There is also the anticipation of shopping on Black Friday too.
Daily Prompt: Scorched
Everyone gets burned in their lives and its deep within but other times we are scorched and the burn becomes more visible, apparent by the look on someones face. Scorching means to burn superficially something as to discolor or damage it. That heat can transform something into a beautiful thing or ruin it forever. We all go through trials that can burn us deeply or show people we have been through the fire and we are better for it.
Upping My Twitter Presence
As I have taken a break from Facebook it’s important to up my game on Twitter. One thing I wanna do there is to engage my blog readers and other friends who are there to make them aware of my presence. Blogging and Tweeting seem to be good friends so I want to take advantage of that. Sometimes you need more than 140 characters to share whats on your mind. Granted the stream on Twitter is different from Facebook in that you see more users at one time on Facebook so you have to stand out among the crowd. So far though I haven’t seen as much inbound interaction on Twitter as of yet. You are welcome to follow me there as well as my other social outlets.
BTW my Facebook break is going well. Haven’t missed it much.
Photo Challenge: Magic
I am a believer in the magic of things, people, religion and our world. Magic can be a all encompassing thing to bring the elements of life together. Every person has some magic in them to do amazing things if they choose to. We are all bearers of a certain magic to change lives hopefully for the better. It doesn’t take a spell or a incantation or a potion all it takes is love, touch or perhaps just being there. However if you have the ability to do a patronus or something like that then you are quite remarkable.
Be good wizards and witches and magicians and all that for the world around us needs it now more than ever. It is magic, you know. You can do magic!
If you can be Harry, Ron or Hermione do that!

Daily Prompt: Mythical #wordpressdotcom
In this world of chaos perhaps we need to have an imagination to help us cope with it. Myths and legends help us to deal with the reality of true existence. Some mythical tales can inspire and give something for us to aspire to. Stories of amazing things and creatures from a different age can take us to a different place where the amazing is the rule rather than the exception. I think myths and legends are important to the culture of a place and a people. Mythical, magical creatures do exist and are real in your mind which is as real as anything.
