Apollo 11 – Man On The Way To The Moon #apollo11
Today is the 50th Anniversary of the liftoff of Apollo 11 that carried Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin to the Moon. This remains one of the greatest fetes of mankind. To think that your cellphone has more computing power than that rocket is pretty astounding. Those men had courage to do what they did. It’s amazing to think about what went into this mission.
I wasn’t born quite yet but to me being born during the year of the voyage to the moon was pretty special. I hope there will be another trip someday. It’s been too long.
Fighting With My Family – A Wrestling Tale
Fighting With My Family is a terrific story about a family who just happens to be in professional wrestling in the UK. It’s also the story of a young lady named Saraya-Jade Bevis who goes by Paige in the WWE who is the youngest ever women’s champ. This movie features former WWE champ and current box office king Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson who is a producer of the film. Vince Vaughn plays a talent coach who brings Paige to the development wing NXT and works her way to the main roster.

Won’t You Be My Neighbor
Fred Rogers who was known as Mr. Rogers sang to children of all ages “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” for years on his show Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. It’s a classic reminder of a call to friendship.
Who are our neighbors? Well everyone you meet. It’s more than the people who live around where you live. It’s important we understand that because it makes the world our neighborhood.
In my faith loving your neighbor as yourself is a serious thing. Offering people grace and kindness can be a tall order because there are some folks you like and a few you don’t like so offering them both love can be a challenge. We can be exhausted in being nice but it’s worth it.
My friends you are my neighbor just for visiting my blog. Liking my posts and commenting on them are a plus. For me, treating you all with kindness and being nice is something i’m hard wired to do. It’s also an extension of my extending grace to everyone. I do believe there are some who needs more grace and kindness because their lives have been tough.
