I am a minimalist when it comes to my computer desktop. There are no icons on it other than those on the lower taskbar on Windows 10. The desktop depicted on the right in the above illustration would drive me nuts and I don’t know how people find things with it that chaotic. To me in this situation less is more.

I was looking at my boyfriend’s computer one time and he has icons everywhere. I think some of them are copies and I doubt he uses them. I have alot of icons because they aren’t scattered everywhere I can still see my Windows theme (turtles this month).
As opposed to your dresser top….

I try to keep mine clear too. It drives me crazy when it gets too cluttered.

I also like to keep mine nice and clean. Can’t work in a messy place.

Ha, I clear mine every now and then, but it magically becomes a mess again within a new days. I’m pretty sure it’s the aliens. 🙂

I’m a minimalist. And I keep my desktop completely cleared. It keeps me from being stressed out for sure!
