Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!
In 2016 my hope for family and friends is to live in freedom of any pain, suffering, drama and anger. May we all have a life where we can have peace of mind and soul. The world is tough enough without us putting any more crisis into it. We need to hold fast to faith and hope that can sustain us throughout time. Too many people hold on to the hurts of history that the promise of the present is cloudy even doubtful. It is not easy to let go but sometimes you have to. No matter where the year takes you rely upon those things that can get you through. Tomorrow is today and today is tomorrows yesterday.
Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole, whose biggest hit came in a virtual duet with her late father, pop legend Nat King Cole, of his decades-old hit “Unforgettable,” has died at the age of 65, her family said on Friday.
I hope each of you will have a great day and a even better year. Thank you for your friendship and care. I am a grateful man to have the people in my life I do. Put the past behind, focus on the future. You all rock! Grace, peace and love in 2016. Let love win!
