When The Internet Is Down

When the Internet goes down I watch it frantically to see if it’s come back. I’m pretty sure everyone else does the same.

Thought Of The Day 10132021

To achieve a goal it requires the cooperation of others to make it happen. You are doing the work but you must have a little help along the way.

Showing Up For Work

When you show up for work, you have to really show up. The day I had today wasn’t all that easy at first but if you keep going things will happen. You hope you are doing your best even when you don’t feel like doing your best. Tuesday’s feel like a “second Monday” and perhaps that was the case for me today. Everyone has days like this, and I am glad this day is done.

Sunnyside Cup Tour of Flavors #Chattanooga

Today’s Sunnyside Cup flavor is Maple Pumpkin Spice. As the Mrs. pointed out it’s Canadian Thanksgiving in a cup. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Be sure to support local independent coffee places.

Indigenous People Day

Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a holiday that celebrates and honors Native American peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures.

The people who lived here before Europeans made their way to their “new world” deserve better lives and the rights that go with it. America needs its own truth and reconciliation movement to atone for the atrocities committed against indigenous peoples that forced them off their lands and killed thousands. Native peoples have a deep cultural contribution that cannot be ignored. May everyone understand.
