St. Peter’s Morning Prayers During Covid-19 #episcopal #anglican #Coronavirus #Covid19

Social distancing is something that is smart in the crisis of Coronavirus/Covid-19. This morning my church decided not to gather in person but offered morning prayer online via YouTube as a way to keep our community connected during this season of Lent. Many houses of worship do this on a regular basis but for my church, this was something new and different. Typically we have music and communion that goes along with our mass but it was OK to forego those elements for a time.

Hopefully, we will be back together sometime during Holy Week and other things will return to normal as possible.

My blog remains open during this crisis. All our blogs should be open to bridge the social distancing we are doing these days. Having some fun during serious times can give us all some relief. So, please come in. Have some coffee or tea or something stronger and let us chill in the quarantine.

Surviving This Thing

I take the Coronavirus thing seriously. Efforts to contain it are needed. What we need now is for everyone to do their part in this effort.

While I am deeply concerned I will from time to time post some humorous things that hopefully will give some needed levity.

Going outside the house tonight and looking at the stars and the neighborhood helped connect me a little to creation. Everyone needs to do that to help center themselves in the chaos.

Surviving this thing is going to require a lot out of us all. We gotta do this for the time being.

Corona…Cerveza That Is

Nothing wrong with Corona Beer. It’s safe to drink. Pour a cold one everyone.
