About My Writing/Blogging

blogging blur business communication

I am more of an old school blogger and less content creator. My writing is within the confines of creating a post of things I find sacred, serious and even silly. My posts are short and concise featuring writing, media and sometimes both. My goal is to be a good all-around blogger where I can connect with fellow bloggers and others.

Quote Of The Day

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.

Harvey Fierstein

Six Word Story

Time flies by quickly these days.

Quote Of The Day

He will settle arguments between nations. They will pound their swords and their spears into rakes and shovels; they will never make war or attack one another.

Isaiah 2:4 from the Holy Bible

Today Is Epiphany #Epiphany #Episcopal #Anglican #Catholic

Monday, January 6th is Epiphany which is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God incarnate as Jesus Christ. It is when the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child takes place, and thus Jesus’ physical manifestation to the Gentiles.

A Ramble About Violence

As we all know the world is a violent place. So much of it is not fighting but something else. There is economic, political, environmental, ecological, social and spiritual violence that does as much harm you can’t see. It’s truly troubling what humans do to each other and to nature.

People have such promise for peace and they have the ability for unreal violence too. All this is senseless tragedy that doesn’t have to happen if we are intentional about pursuing peace, understanding and reconciliation.

How we treat our fellow man and the planet says a lot about us. We can do better. All of us can.

Be kind to the world around you. Peace begins with all of us.
