Hi there, my name is Tony Burgess (my friends call me T-Bird) from Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. I am a believer, bleeding heart, idealist, and blogger. I'm married to Laura the Soup Diva and a dog dad to Frankie, Cody, and Mikey. Daily I work for a blood bank recruiting donors. My blog is where I chronicle and curate the sacred, serious, and silly things in my life. I am a member of The Episcopal Church. Thank you for connecting with me. Grace, peace, and love!

A Note To My Followers, I’m Sorry

I want to say if you have ever been offended by a post or a comment I have posted please know I am truly sorry. I hope you see me as a kind person who is considerate of everyone. Then again I am very human and I do make mistakes. Sometimes what I post on my blog or when I comment doesn’t always translate to the keyboard from my head. Being mean isn’t in my nature, just ask anyone I know. Once again my friends I do want you to know I value our connections and I can’t afford to lose friendships. Thank you for understanding with respect and repentance. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact me. If you wish to ever un-follow my blog I won’t hold ill will against you. Sorry for any misunderstandings on my part.

The only thing for sure we know about communication is that we tend to get it wrong. Michael Ray Smith.

In many places in America it’s time to move your clocks forward one hour before turning in for bed on Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time begins on March 10th at 2:00 AM. Don”t forget to do this so you won’t be late for appointments and other things.

Something Tasty From Chattanooga’s Two Ten Jack

Ramen, something I could eat daily. It’s quite tasty and good on a rainy, dreary day. Pork, noodles, broth, egg come together to make something special.
