Title song from the film That Thing You Do!, as performed by The Wonders.
This is one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies. Set in the era of early rock and roll this movie is stylish and fun.

Official video of Blondie performing Rapture from the album Autoamerican. I have been a Blondie fan for years. This song takes elements of punk, rap and pop and fuses it together nicely.
The Bangles from way back in 1985. It just seems appropriate for the day. This song has aged very well and is a modern classic.
This song is a powerful anthem of empowerment for anyone. It was also in the sound track to the movie “The Legend of Billie Jean” which was one of the cooler flicks of the 1980’s and starred Helen Slater and Christian Slater.
I am not a “Directioner” meaning I am not a superfan of One Direction but I will recognize they are some talented blokes. This is one of my favorite songs of theirs. News reports have them taking some time off as a band which is not sitting well with their more enthusiastic fans. Let’s see what the future holds for them.
I absolutely love this movie and the music from it. Some have called it cheesy and bad but they are wrong. This flick is about music and love and dreaming a little. Everyone needs a muse like Olivia Newton John right?
