A Ramble About Women

Without a long post it is truly a shame how some men are treating women these days. It’s not right and it needs to stop. This is the 21st century and we are supposed to be better as a civilization and as a culture. Women are not property or objects they are flesh and blood and feelings and awesome. No woman asks or deserves to be harmed.

We have to love one another and treat each other better than we do. I am a believer that women of all stripes are to be revered not reviled. Yes there are some women who bring ridicule upon themselves because of their behavior but even they are worthy of redemption.

They are grandmothers, mothers, sisters, cousins, friends. Women are both natural and transgender and they account for 50% of the population. Creation of humanity requires their choice of participation. No matter what a woman should be able to dream and have the opportunity to be who they want and they should dream to do better.

Men, treat the women in your life like queens, princesses and empresses. You will be better people for it.

A Ramble on Hipsters

Hipsters are reviled in some circles but I respect them for wanting to make the world a better place from a different perspective. I appreciate their vision and idealism. Their passion can be transformative. I imagine if I were a little younger I would be one or something like that.

Rambling About Conspiracy Theorists

Conspiracy is a part of the culture and the mythos of our lives. There are people who will theorize about something they doubt happened. Theorists will bring up their perceived truth and will advance that story. Everything from the Lunar Landing to the assassination of President Kennedy to even the events of September 11, 2001 have some conspiracy attached to them with some dark, sinister event that has some people’s imagination peaked to a hyper level.

The truth is important. Everyone is entitled to it. However some who advance conspiracy theories in my opinion come across as a know-it-all. They want to spread rumors and sometimes that slanders people and they propagate lies and do more harm than good. Everyone enjoys the intrigue of a mystery but conspiracies can just be that conspiracies.

Facts are facts but sometimes facts can be altered to advance an agenda or something more nefarious. In news the journalist should never make themselves a part of the story and the same should be said for someone who wants their lives to be a part of a thing bigger than them. Perhaps it’s a bit of narcissism or low self-esteem that causes people to say something didn’t happen the way everyone else remembers seeing it. Maybe there is a trust thing too.

P.T. Barnum once said there is a sucker born every minute and to those who advance conspiracies perhaps there is something to that.

Rambling About Anger

Don’t take out your anger on someone innocent or someone just trying to do their job. Whatever is going on in ones life should not cause pain and agony for a bystander. Controlling ones emotions can mean bad things don’t have to happen to good people. If you find yourself getting pissed just take a step back and think about what you are going to do and say next. There are some things worth getting angry about but most times getting angry only hurts yourself. Please advance peace and don’t retreat old hurts. Yes much of this is easier said than done but it’s worth trying and doing.

Rambling About Constancy

Some people desire constancy in their contentment. Routine and familiar surroundings make life comfortable. Growth however doesn’t happen when you are standing still. We all need to have life disrupted so that we can experience things to get us down the road of life. If one can get out and do things to make the world awesome. A shark must move to survive and humans need to do the same. Contentment and constancy are two things that work with and against each other, decide which one you want more of at any given time.

Rambling About Inspiring

To inspire others, you sometimes have to put your own heart out there and occasionally make an idiot of yourself. Hopefully those you are trying to encourage to do great things will buy into the crazy of it all.
