Heaven, paradise or whatever your tradition calls it, whether its cannon or not is not important in this discussion is a place where people go to live their best lives in eternity. It is important how we treat others here as to practice for the after life. I believe its a place where we can do the things we love and break bread with other saints. There is room at the table for everyone and God has set a place for each of us to be in communion with him and all the saints that have been there awhile. It will be a surprise who will be there waiting for us all. The here after begins in the here now.
Without bragging I am pretty good at what I do for a living. So when I struggle as everyone does its frustrating. Lots of people feel this. You know what you are capable of and the level of your production is well above goal on a very consistent basis then it puzzles you.
Of course there are forces outside your control that can and will impact how you do so as the old saying goes you have to roll with the punches. Everyone has a bucket of some sort to fill in their line of work and its great when its filled daily. The goal is to do your best as to fulfill your expectations but never to put your coworkers down in the process.
Keep reminding yourself that tomorrow is another day to get it right and to consistently produce.
Greed and fear rear their ugly heads as a spiritual issue that impacts the soul. Those who use fear and greed as ways to manipulate others need repentance. There’s a lot of it going around these days.
Is it so wrong to put something down on your calendar a few weeks ahead? Seems that some folks are afraid to because a better opportunity might arise and they don’t want to be committed. Seems to me that people don’t wanna be heavily scheduled these days but opt for freedom in the moment. There’s nothing wrong with that but you know there is something to be said about planning and making a point to being somewhere and to engage in activities you can be ready for in the future.
Sure emergencies arise and you have to change plans but you can’t borrow trouble especially when you have an invitation in where someone who cares about you wants to have your presence. Maybe you can help someone who might need you down the road.
Joy is something everyone needs in life to make it better. Sure you have happiness and euphoria and bliss but joy is something that seems to be different, more meaningful. There is a old church song I have joy, joy, joy down in my heart and you know that is where it starts. Good things can come from the heart if we are inspired.
In this mean world we live in joy can be the salve that can heal burns and wounds. Joy can be infectious too. When you have joy people pick up on it and hopefully want what you got. I am giving you some joy today and I hope you will spread it around to your friends, family and strangers who desperately need some themselves.
