It’s been a very challenging couple of days for me professionally and a little personally. The work of me and my team at Blood Assurance our regional blood bank is vitally important to saving lives. Without our organization many peoples lives over the years would be in jeopardy. Yesterday and Today people of all races, creeds, nationalities and genders came to our doors to donate a huge part of themselves, their blood. Today I helped over 100 people set aside their time to come donate. Those folks are important in that they will have an opportunity to save 300 lives. That is something to be thankful for.

Something About Being Wrong
I’m never above saying sorry for anything that I do or say that is hurtful or offensive. I admit when I’m wrong about something. Reconciliation and forgiveness matter.
Something About What Makes A Blogger, Numbers Don’t Tell The Whole Story #wordpressdotcom
Blogging is a noun and a verb. It is something you do and is something you are. Your number of followers do not determine your value as a blogger because I think the quality of your connections is what matters most. Some bloggers have a large following while others have a few friends and neighbors tagging along. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have thousands of people visiting daily. A blog that comes from the heart will tell a great story and will bring people along organically. Don’t worry about your stats especially if you are an amateur. It’s good to celebrate milestones of people following but don’t get hung up on that. Every blog has a place in cyberspace.
No two bloggers are exactly alike. Their mission and purpose are determined by the writer and curator. I think individuality matters. Be yourself within your blog and create posts in your own way. Be sure your blog looks alive and tells the reader something about yourself.
As a person who runs a personal blog I am not out to be wildly popular but to share my message with all who will hear it and will connect with me. Being happy with what you have and be proud of your blog.
The one thing I always say is keep on blogging!
Something About Being Short-Handed
Being short-handed is a opportunity to rally and come together as a group. This is a time to bring out the best in people or the worst depending on situation. We all have times when adversity is ever present and you have to work harder to get things done. Some days seem like you are always running behind. I have been in situations that call for me and those I work with to rise to a challenge. Now is the time to do amazing things and to show people what you are made of.
Something About November 8, 2016 – Decision Day #vote2016 #election2016

Tuesday, November 8th is the day that American’s have been waiting for it seems forever. We will know (hopefully) who will be the next President of The United States. It has been a very long process of primary votes, debates, campaigning and more debating. Secretary Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump have made this election cycle a very memorable one. It has been one for the history books. State and local races will be decided tomorrow too so that will impact people more directly.
Almost 44 million votes have been cast in early voting but tomorrow the rest of America will have their say. It’s going to be a very interesting Tuesday evening watching the results coming from across the country. It will be a late night for many but I am hoping the race will be hopefully called by 11 PM.
I will be blogging about decision day throughout tomorrow. Check back to see what I am thinking. Tomorrow is a big day.
Something About Kindness
Being mean to a total stranger online is not acceptable. There are a lot of people who are highly sensitive and wouldn’t harm anyone themselves. So many people are ridiculed for appearance and other attributes that it isn’t fair. Why do people have to do mean things? I don’t know but they need to get right and learn how to treat others with kindness and respect. People have some sort of license online to be mean because of the cloak of anonymity it affords. It hurts even more when it’s people have no reasons to say the things they say. Words wound, they go deep. Life is too short not to love one another.
