Throwback Thursday – #Gatlinburg #Tennessee #TBT
This is a photo collage from a visit to Gatlinburg, Tennessee back in 2008. It’s a picturesque tourist destination in the Great Smoky Mountains. This past week the town was hit hard by fires that burned homes, attractions, lodges and other businesses. This is a good place to chill and it will come back.

Today was my Friday for this week as I am taking tomorrow off. It is a much needed and I hope deserved 3-day weekend. Sometimes you have to make your own breaks and I am happy to be off on what is real Friday most of the time. I for one am glad the weekend has come early.

World AIDS Day, designated on 1 December every year since 1988 is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, and mourning those who have died of the disease. HIV and AIDS is a disease that has claimed a lot of lives. Unfortunately people who live with it live with the stigma of having it. This is a disease that knows no boundaries and can impact people of all walks of life. Education and awareness can make a difference in the lives of those who have the disease so that they too can live a full life.
