Something About Life, Liberty, Happiness

“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. This is also something that I feel should be extended to every human being around the world.

No matter who we are or where we come from everyone should have the right to a life of their choosing, the liberty to work for it and the freedom to pursue Happiness. One thing I would say is that no human being should prevent another from being able to be who they want as long as its legal, ethical and does not impact others in a negative way. So that means you can’t go streaking naked through a movie theatre yelling fire, fire!

No matter who you are, you should be able to dream big, achieve big and to do good things that can make a difference for your friends and neighbors. America is great when life, liberty and happiness are accessible to everyone no matter creed, orientation, race or ethnicity. It’s my hope no matter where you live in the world you have the opportunities to be who you choose to be in the place where you are now.

Be happy and make the world a better place by being yourself and living well.

Status Update

Today was very much a Monday. I had a headache, bum foot and it was a slow day at work. I did modified Zumba tonight. Tomorrow is Tuesday whether I like it or not.

Something About A Blog Break

I didn’t post yesterday and It’s cool my blog gets views and visits. Maybe a break every now and then is good for folks to catch up. I am a prolific poster and some days I post 4-6 posts a day. Perhaps that is too much or should it matter to the reader. Interesting things to ponder about best practices for a blogger so that the reader isn’t overwhelmed.

Quote Of The Day

Soon we all must face the choice of what is right and what is easy. Professor Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

Win or Lose, Life Does Go On #sports

I shouldn’t allow a win or a loss of one of my favorite teams to dictate my mood. After all it’s just sports and there are way more important things to be worried about. For too long I hooked my identity to teams and their colors. So many of my friends do that and it can really impact their moods and attitude about life. I have gotten myself all worked up about a game that I felt let down by people who did their best in the arena of play.

People handle disappointment in different ways and adding the stress of sports to it all isn’t good. I guess it’s one thing about human nature we all have to deal with from ourselves and others.

Win or lose, life goes on. Sports is a part of life, it isn’t all there is to life. I can’t forget this. Maybe all sports fans can all learn from this.

Status Update

Hello friends, I have had a good Saturday so far. It started with scratch made waffles then laundry and getting a few things done today. Football is a big thing today too. I appear to have a heel spur on my left foot so that is something I am not enjoying. I hope you all are having a great day.
