A Thai Soup For Dinner

My Missus the Soup Diva made a tasty, savory Thai soup. It was a bowl full of warmth and love on a Saturday night.

What’s For Lunch

Here is what I’m having for lunch today. BBQ pork plate with fried okra and baked beans from a local place called Choo Choo BBQ in Chattanooga. It was worth getting out in the cold for. May your lunch be delicious too.

Communicating Online

Daily writing prompt
In what ways do you communicate online?

The prime way I communicate online is through my blog here on WordPress and through social media. I have accounts on Threads, BlueSky, Instagram and the venerable Facebook. Email is a more thorough and personal way of connecting with others and to receive notifications about important things. Having a cellphone means texting too.

Check out the right sidebar for my social links and check me out elsewhere too.

Kpop Demon Hunters, Golden Fun, Golden Story

I am a total nerd for a good pop culture machine, and Kpop Demon Hunters is just that. This Netflix flick is full of visual treats, and plenty of soul, or is that Seoul.

When K-pop super group Huntrix featuring Rumi, Mira and Zoey aren’t selling out stadiums or topping the charts, they’re moonlighting as demon hunters to protect their fans from ever-present supernatural danger.

This movie pays tribute to K-pop and creates a story of music, adversity, and friendship that powers our group in defeating demons. It has some really catchy music that makes it even more special. It won The Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature and Best Song.

This is one for a re-watch. I recommend it to everyone.

It’s Going To Be Colder This Week

Temperatures are going to be much colder this week. So with that being said my Texts From Dog calendar has something to say about cold weather. It’s quite funny. Enjoy.

Dogs are snarky.

Fiction Speaking To Reality

Truth! Admiral William Adama of fiction speaks to the reality of the moment. This is one of Battlestar Galactica’s greatest commentaries. It seems like these words are a warning more than ever.
