This happened a few weeks before I was born.
When man landed on the moon it was a great moment in history. We the American people were challenged by President John F. Kennedy to soar to new heights and to do something awesome. It required the work of brilliant and talented people to make it happen. We haven’t done anything like it since. Maybe we need to dream again.
I only follow personal bloggers or and select commercial sites here on WordPress.com. I am here to blog about what I’m interested in and to make connections with real live people who share a passion for blogging like I do. I appreciate all who follow me and I celebrate our friendship and connecting through blogging.
Political correctness exists because some people have been excluded from opportunities and that certain groups continue to be viewed with prejudice and hate. There is a lack of kindness, politeness and courtesy that requires a shift of mindset on a societal level. In a perfect world political correctness would not have to be a thing. Being kind and polite would be natural and organic. But as long as women, minorities along with religious and racial communities continue to get the short end of the stick and face a real struggle and hate then we need political correctness.
When you decide to re-blog your own stuff or take an old post and freshen it up a bit that can be a good thing. An old post can be seen in a new light by new eyes who are just now discovering your blog.
When your creative juices are running low, you can find inspiration from things you have done before. Be careful not to get too repetitive but enjoy the process of introducing your followers to your blogging journey. I would advise doing a short introduction to the post you are re-blogging to set up context and to let folks know this is a golden oldie.
It can be fun to take a look back until new ideas for new posts come along.
Whenever we are in a place for a while there is a part of us that remains. Our “ghost” is still there as we leave an impact or impression of ourselves. Our spirit just floats around and makes itself home even though we have left that space and place to go on new adventures. Maybe its a way to remind us of the time we had there or maybe its a desire in some way to still be there. Either way we change a place as it changes us. There is such a thing as living people leaving their ghosts behind.
I am off to the doctor this morning for my 3 month checkup and to have a problem with my hearing looked at as well as my right arm which I think I have pulled something. If it’s not one thing its another. Then I go into work. A busy day for me.
