Welcome To Monday

Well another week awaits. I got some iced coffee and I’m good to go. Let’s see what happens. Have a great week good people.

Something About God

I revere God. I am respectful of God. I embrace God as someone who was made by God. I don’t fear God because that word has been used to intimidate and scare people into a relationship with God where they feel like they must obey or be struck down. It’s time we think about God differently because fear can be like a box and God is bigger than all that. God is about love, laughing and being there for all of us.

It’s Too Early For The Fourth of July Stuff

Okay Walgreens Independence Day is in July. This is way too early to break out the red, white and blue paraphernalia.

Feeling All The Things

In the past few years, I have not been myself or the person I was in 2018. That was five years ago and much has happened since that time. I got older, lost my dad in 2019 (that took a lot out of me) then COVID happened and of course, the political shit we seem to endure daily. During that time I have been moody and frankly not a lot of fun to be around.

The one thing I can say is that I can only be myself and the person I am at that moment. Pleasing people is a hard habit to break and I still find myself being a slave to that.

I feel as if I am giving off an aura I think that repels some people. I am hoping that gets better as I go along. Being real means being authentic whatever that looks like. People should have the freedom to feel all their emotions and hope that others will be there to help pick up the pieces.

Me, And Social Media

Daily writing prompt
How do you use social media?

I use social media as a way of connecting with other people and keeping up with what is going on with my interests. Of course, I comment but in a respectful manner. You have to be responsible for how you use it these days. Beware the comments my good people.

The First Thing On My Noggin

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

I need to be sure I hit publish when posting to my blog.
