It’s a Monday and that means back to work.
For many today and in the days ahead its time to go back to school.
May we all have a good day in the workplace and in the classroom. Let us all be safe as we work and study. We all have something to learn and grow from. In the coming year.
Students on all levels are headed back to school. This time of year can be great for parents and even students wanting some normalcy and the classroom can be an important part of that.
As they reconnect with their teachers and friends safety is vital. The COVID situation means care and prevention is very important.
Attention teachers and students have a great year. Do good work.
There was a Zayre department store in my hometown for years. It was one of the coolest places to shop. This is a back-to-school ad from back in the day.
Walmart has their school supplies out for sale now. Whether it be grade or high school or maybe college now is the time to pick up those supplies. It will be a weird year I feel for students around the world. Let’s see if the return to the classroom really happens.
Today the local school system (Hamilton County, Tennessee in this case) returns to the classroom after the summer break. Other students in the area have been back for a week or more. For many kids this is really bad news but for parents it’s a welcome sight. Granted some of those parents are teachers so they have to get back to work. I hope all the students, teachers and staff have a great school year and do amazing things. Amazing things come from public schools I believe.

Today the children of my community return to the classroom to begin the 2016-2017 school term. I am reminded of the anticipation and dread that was going back to school. For many it’s seeing their friends daily and recess. Our kids have it tougher today than in years past to compete and to complete their work.
Be on watch for those who will be out and about headed back to the school house, safety is important for the next generation. To all the teachers, students and staff of schools I wish you a great year of learning and growing.
