Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. There are also recognitions of Black History Month in Canada, United Kingdom and The Netherlands. You cannot tell the story of a nation without Black stories being heard. I am glad to learn more and to be a part of this.

I am not Canadian, but in my dreams I am. I support the talk about mental health going on today in Canada with the Bell Let’s Talk initiative. Everyone struggles. Everyone needs someone to talk to. Keep a watch out for one another. The world is a tough place these days. Peace to everyone going through stuff right now.
