Real Work Struggles Hope In The Midst Of Struggle

When ones job depends on the cooperation of others it has its own unique challenges. People are so random in how they will respond. Nothing is truly predictable anymore. Like the cliche says the struggle is real. Just do the best you can and hope for the best. Yes those are 3 cliches in a row but the sentiments are needed to keep one going.

Hang in there everyone including me.

Freaky Friday – January 31, 2020

I’m glad it’s Friday but today seems a little freaky. Maybe with national and world events keeping many on edge it’s understandable. From impeachment to Brexit to the virus in China a lot of stuff is going on at the moment.

I suppose we need to be as resolute and do our parts to be kind and inspire some courage. Fear not good people. Grace and peace and love. Make it a good last day of January.

As always keep on blogging my good people.

Giving at the office (I work for a blood bank) some A-Negative whole red blood cells for those who need it. It’s good to help others. The first donation of the new decade. Whatever you can do to help those in need just do that.

The Thing About Certainty

In an ever-changing world certainty is one of those things that gives one comfort and some peace. However, its the mystery of life that means certainty is not always what is best. Having a certain way of doing things can mean one doesn’t have to think, it just comes naturally through practice and tradition.

Our religion is something many can be certain about. Maybe its science or history or the arts. It’s always going to be there or so we hope. All of those things are subject to new information, trends, discovery and personal interpretation.

Sure it would be great to be certain about one’s income or who wins the big game or perhaps what the rules of life are but even all that is subject to forces outside our control. In our personal lives being certain to have the love of family in friends is reassuring.

I suppose the only thing to be certain about is change and we are all subject to that in our daily lives.

Nobody knows the future with certainty. We can, however, identify ongoing patterns of change.

Alvin Toffler

I think Mr. Toffler is on to something. The future is not a lock but if we pay attention we can be ready for the change that will certainly come.

Certainty isn’t certain.

About My Writing/Blogging

blogging blur business communication

I am more of an old school blogger and less content creator. My writing is within the confines of creating a post of things I find sacred, serious and even silly. My posts are short and concise featuring writing, media and sometimes both. My goal is to be a good all-around blogger where I can connect with fellow bloggers and others.
