I would say if you are living you are also dreaming. It is not the type of dreams about prosperity and possibility, but those dreams you have at night when you are asleep and your subconscious takes over. Your mind has to process the stuff that you input over time.
Sometimes it’s good stuff but other times it’s not very pleasant. My dreams are often weird and I suppose most people’s dreams are strange come to think of it. Dreaming is healthy and necessary. Dreams have different meanings and are more symbolic of something else in your life. Let’s just hope that dreams don’t turn into constant nightmares. Those aren’t fun.
The interpretation of dreams is the royal road to a knowledge of the unconscious activities of the mind.
I love retro and nerdy things so I think I would open a shop where you could buy vintage tech, media, clothing, and collectibles. Also, that shop would be where you could get retro treats like soda, candy, snacks, etc. As my generation gets older, having things that remind us of our childhood would be comforting. Newer generations might appreciate antiques from the times of the generations that came before. Just imagine the things that you would find in a store like that.

The school busses were out and running this morning, a sign of students returning to the classroom. On Facebook, I have seen many of my friend’s children in their first-day-of-class pictures. Back in my day the kids used to go back after Labor Day (in America). Now they go back in early August. I am hoping those kids will have a great year in the classroom and beyond. May they also be safe and secure. Let’s hope the lessons they learn this year will make the world a better place for themselves and for everyone. Do a good job kids.
Chilling out is important. After a full week of work, it’s good to relax. For me, it’s hard to do. In the back of my mind, I think I am just being lazy and I think there is something that needs to be done. I also have this anxiety that someone is going to call and beg for my help.
As I have said I have to work at setting boundaries and saying no. It is important to reclaim my time for myself instead of giving myself away. Sure, it’s nice to be needed but I don’t want to be needed so much at this stage in my life.
So as I write this, I am having some fun and enjoying the time to do stuff I want to do. Perhaps I should matter more to me.
Comfort food is important on tough days. Here I will answer this question by the three meals I have daily.
Breakfast – I love oatmeal during the week. On weekends I enjoy cooking pancakes/waffles. Also, a cinnamon roll can be good.
Lunch – I am a kid when it comes to lunch where I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with corn chips. I also enjoy tuna fish and Reuben sandwiches when I need something more substantial.
Dinner – A loaded baked potato with pulled pork is good. Sesame chicken is something I enjoy anytime but especially on tough days. I also like a big plate of spaghetti. If it has meatballs then it is even better.
When days are tough I enjoy a snack of an oatmeal raisin cookie and a soda.
Hey friends, it’s Friday. Let’s finish this strange week the best we can. Make it a great day. Peace, love, and fun to you all as we head into the weekend.
