Working on the church website has been a fun exercise in learning new stuff. I am hoping it tells the story of St. Peter’s Episcopal. When they say content is king they aren’t kidding. When you are doing such a thing you have to pull information from various places and ministries of the parish. We are using a system from Digital Faith which has provided a good CMS among other tools. It is almost like a portal too. I am not a stranger to this sort of thing because it’s the third church I have done websites for. This is a task that is being done with a team of others who are making a great contribution as well. Check it out at http://stpeters.org
I use Google Photos to store my pictures as I take them. They sync when I log on to the web so they are uploaded to the cloud. One of the cool things it does is takes pictures and stitches them together to make a panoramic. I am impressed with this picture, it’s cool.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — From Boston to Seattle, cities across the country are vying to create technology hubs, spurring real estate developments to attract start-ups and young entrepreneurs.
This is a great write-up from the New York Times about my cities innovation district. We have a lot to be proud of here in Chattanooga and when one of America’s great newspaper notices it is very nice.
Today the children of my community return to the classroom to begin the 2016-2017 school term. I am reminded of the anticipation and dread that was going back to school. For many it’s seeing their friends daily and recess. Our kids have it tougher today than in years past to compete and to complete their work.
Be on watch for those who will be out and about headed back to the school house, safety is important for the next generation. To all the teachers, students and staff of schools I wish you a great year of learning and growing.
It’s election day in Tennessee. We are voting on state primaries and county general races and federal primaries. Voting is an important part of every democracy. Today’s voting leads up to the general election in the Fall when we elect a new president in the United States.
This picture of the Movable Wall was stylized using PRISMA. I like the way it looks. This app gives a different look to my photos. It looks like art doesn’t it?
