Chattanooga’s family reunion as we call The Riverbend Festival happens each June on the 21st Century Riverfront. There are 5 stages of acts of all kinds performing music of all kinds. Of course there is food, merchandise and community organizations making this a special time of year.

This year the highlights of the festival is Heart, REO Speedwagon, Blood Sweat and Tears, Salt and Peppa, 38 Special and Here Comes The Mummies will appear on The Coca Cola Stage which is pictured above.

There are some indie acts who will be found on the smaller stages.

#FBF Flashback Friday – Heart – Barracuda #chattanooga

Today begins Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Riverbend Festival which is a week long music and community festival. Tomorrow Heart featuring Ann and Nancy Wilson grace the Coca Cola Stage to rock out on their classic hits from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Here is their 1977 hit Barracuda. I will be sharing more about Riverbend throughout the week.

My Favorite Coffee Beverage

This is the Frozen Mocha Joe at the Xpresso Mart on Signal Mountain. It is my favorite coffee beverage. There is soft serve ice cream, Ghiradelli chocolate syrup, espresso, milk and whipped cream. It is delicious. You don’t have to go to a big name place for big name taste.

Breakfast At Olive Bean

We tried a new breakfast spot this morning. Olive Bean has a good menu of scratch made food featuring breakfast and lunch options. They have a gift shop too and soda fountain. It’s nice going to a different place to expand your horizons.
