When was the last time you answered a call for help? In the past has your call for help been answered? A call for help is an opportunity to be someones super hero when they are in distress. Everyone has that time in their lives when they need a helping hand or maybe an ear that will listen to your troubles. The help we give can be the one thing that saves a life. We all have times when we need assistance. For some a prayer is a cry for help while others will use a phone, computer or other method. Today will you answer the call if it comes? If you need help will you call for help?

Being Positive
As a generally positive person I do have my moments. But I work hard at seeing the better side of life and people. The world has enough negative energy where it can really wear on us. Having more words of affirmation would do us all good.
You have to be intentionally positive or at least fake it til you make it. This is hard for some because of prior life experience. Positive people do have the right to complain every so often because they want to effect change in their lives and community. I even complain about things, it’s just a human thing to do. Being an idealist is not easy because not everyone shares your vision of how things can be. Ones attitude about life in general informs us about where they are coming from. I heard in a movie once your attitude is the aroma of your heart so sometimes your heart has to be in a good place for you to be positive. Sometimes life hands you situations that require complaining. However I think you can complain from a positive place though.
Blogging can provide a great platform for people to share their hearts and minds. Posting positive things is fairly easy if you get into the practice of doing so. Our world is filled with great things you just have to look for them and to filter out the negative. Being positive isn’t easy, it’s a choice, its worth it.
Question Of The Day: How Far?
How far would you go to help someone? Across town, across the country, across the world? Some folks will go to another country to lend aid and comfort but won’t go across town when its needed.
So the question is How far would you go to help a friend, a neighbor, a stranger, your community.
Life Is Worth Living
Whatever problems people have there are creative ways to resolve them. Drugs, self-harm and and the like are not answers. All life is valuable, all life is a gift from God, all life is important. Give yourself a break. Each of you have a contribution to the world to make. Be strong.
Get help when you feel desperate. There are plenty of resources in your local area so you don’t have to go down the road of destruction others have taken. Think about how many creative people have fallen victim to their troubles and we all know someone who could have done amazing things. It’s very sad that they did not have to perish before their time.
Life is worth living, you will have issues but you can get past them. Have peace in the chaos my friends. Friends you do matter. There are people who do care.
Be there for one another. It’s important to care for those who are in need.
