Me, A Grown Up?

Daily writing prompt
When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

I am fifty-six years old, and some days I feel every year of it. My personality is like that of a big kid in many ways. However, life has called upon me to have situational maturity in times when needed.

I think getting married, buying a house, paying bills, going to the doctor are times when you have to put on your big boy pants on. Also, being burned out of your home and helping walk a parent through their death is super important.

So to answer the question, there have been many times along with that first time which I can’t pinpoint as to being a grown up. Being grown up can suck, I must say.

WordPress Community

I’m wanting to strengthen and enrich my blogging community on WordPress. I think of my fellow bloggers as friends. What do you think about the idea of having connections with bloggers around the world?
