My missus posted this on Facebook. I am at that age where I am older than some people and younger than others. Aging is funny. This is life for everyone.
The Baptism Of Our Lord
The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, or Theophany, is the feast day commemorating the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. Originally the baptism of Christ was celebrated on Epiphany, which commemorates the coming of the Magi, the baptism of Christ, and the wedding at Cana.
I was baptized when I was 11 and it’s something that has sustained me spiritually all the days after. It’s something that has formed me to be the person I am today. Granted, I am not a perfect follower of Jesus but I hope I do my best.
